utterances of graphic designers about the use or misuse of the famous font helvetica serve as the inspiration for the development of a poster promoting the fictive fontsharing platform piratetype. the technique used is the photography of statements formed by helvetica font keys, on keyboards.

dry ice "fogfall" typography

2007

This was an interesting way to develop a visual appearance for the open door day at the hkb.
our chosen concept is an f4 plastic sheet in which we cut out the type using vector-cnc technology, this sheet is then placed on an iron frame, which is filled with hot water. the fogfall effect
is begun by pouring dry-ice pieces into the water-filled frame. Since dry-ice fog sinks, it dynamically spread on the plate and fell through the cut-out
letters.

the spinning year in a circle of three lines. grey bubbling indicates the randomly defined intensity of the days. personally, i actually see a visual year in sort of circle-like journey spinning to the left, with winter on top, but it ain‘t static and is much more colorful.

the wave-roof over the tracks at mainstation bern, the baldachin, the museum paul klee, there is certainly a trend for modern architecture to build in rounded wave shapes.
